On the morning of April 29, 2025, Yichang City held a celebration for the "May 1st" International Labor Day and a commendation ceremony for model workers and advanced workers throughout the city. The ceremony commended 100 advanced individuals, among whom Zhang Biyun, the team leader of the machinery repair team at Hubei Junbom Group's production base, was awarded the title of "Yichang City Model Worker." 
Zhang Biyun joined Hubei Junbom in February 2018 and is currently the team leader of the machinery repair team. In his work, he is conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated to his studies. He is a comprehensive machinery repair personnel specializing in electricity, welding, and equipment maintenance, and he constantly innovates in his work, making outstanding contributions to the company's production, environmental protection, and safety. 
In December 2017, due to his elderly parents' illness, Zhang Biyun resolutely gave up his high-paying job in Shanghai and returned to his hometown of Xingshan. To better care for his family, Zhang Biyun planned to find a job. It happened that a Xingshan company was recruiting machinery repair personnel, and he applied, trying his luck. Considering his previous repair experience, he quickly received a job offer from Hubei Junbom Group's production base. As the saying goes, "Different industries are like different mountains." At Junbom, he encountered sealant production line equipment for the first time, which was vastly different from his previous industry. Here, everything started from scratch. But he did not back down; he humbly learned from his masters during his work and diligently studied after work, searching online for information and teaching himself the working principles of production equipment to supplement his knowledge of related equipment. In just one month, he achieved the highest score in the new employee assessment, fully mastering the company's existing equipment maintenance work.
Hard work always pays off. From 2018 to 2021, Zhang Biyun was named "Excellent Employee" for three consecutive years. In 2019, he won first prize in the equipment disassembly and assembly competition at the labor skills competition held in the Xingshan Economic Development Zone of Hubei Province and was awarded the title of Xingshan County's first "Most Beautiful Frontline Worker" in May of the same year. In 2022, he was nominated for Yichang City's "Most Beautiful Employee," and in 2023, he was named Xingshan County's first "Xingshan Craftsman."
In recent years, Junbom Group's Hubei production base has actively responded to the group's second five-year strategic planning goals, starting with the development of an intelligent and green chemical plant and implementing the group's high-quality development goals. At the beginning of 2023, the Hubei production base piloted the reform of an information-based chemical plant. Considering the large number of equipment, the difficulty of early maintenance scheduling, low maintenance efficiency, and equipment failure statistics, the company launched the construction of an online equipment control platform and an equipment maintenance platform. The machinery repair team led by Zhang Biyun, as a pioneer in the company's informationization reform, undertook this important task. Working with multiple management departments of the company, they completed the early information collection, mid-term fault debugging, and later maintenance statistics, fundamentally solving the problems of a large number of equipment and difficulty in control, making hidden equipment traceable, allowing machines to "speak," and thus enabling early detection and quick resolution of product quality hidden dangers.
Over the past eight years, Zhang Biyun has assisted the production department in conducting 50 training sessions on equipment use, maintenance, and upkeep and, in cooperation with the production department, has modified more than 10 sets of production tools and equipment. These small innovative measures have not only improved production efficiency and reduced waste for the company but have also set an example for employees. Doing every job down-to-earth is Zhang Biyun's work attitude and standard, as well as his basic requirements for himself. He often says, "Work has no end, only a beginning; there is no best, only better; we don't seek to be sensational, but to be down-to-earth!" Zhang Biyun is not only an excellent employee of Junbom Group but also a valuable asset to the Hubei production base and the pride of every Junbom person!
